Clothesline is one of the most versatile “everyday” ways to tell a story. Hang a clothesline across the front of the classroom.
Use it to hang the words to the memory verse on.
Make a little man on a donkey out of paper and slide him across the clothesline to show how a Bible character traveled far away.
Hang a little fluff of cotton from it, or a “flame” made out of paper, and move it along to show how the God led the Israelites through the wilderness.
Make a little ship out of paper, slide it across, and use it to talk about Paul’s missionary journeys.
Hang two or three outfits on the line at about the height of your neck to represent characters in your story. Stand behind the outfit when you talk about that character so that your head shows above the outfit.
